A great little local theatre with a nice variety of shows. Just recently I saw a Queen show, then a David Bowie show. Both were fantastic!

Laycock has a cosy atmosphere with great stage facilities, wings, curtains, lights etc to conduct fairly big productions. Every seat has a great view of the stage, the back row is not too far away.

We went to the theatre on a 38 degrees day and the air-conditioning worked really well. The staff were kind enough to open an extra waiting room so people could sit and wait for the show in the cool. They have a bar service, but the decor in the foyer is more like a community hall. The theatre room is modern, the show was good and the sound and lighting was good quality. The seats with people either side of you felt a little cramped in, not so roomy. But overall, it was a good experience.

I was taken to 9 to 5 performance by my daughter for my birthday. At the end of the show I was so moved by everyone’s performance that I had to stand, clap and yahoo loudly. The standard of this event was amazing from the performances, sound, sets, lighting to the lovely people on the door. Congratulations on you all for your dedication in providing a very high standard production.

If I was to compare thee to Wyong Art House then your flower has certainly wilted. Depressing with run down facilities and toilets akin to well used beach side locations. Wine served in plastic containers, welcome to Gosford...

Always a great experience. The staff were impeccable and helpful. Food is a bit overpriced, but what isn’t these days…?
